Your Vote Matters
Public schools are one of the most important parts of our community. They bring us together, shape our children’s futures, and reflect what we value as a town. That’s why participating in the annual school budget vote and the Haldane Central School District Board of Education election matters so much.
“School boards are the vital organ for education decision-making and represent our best opportunity to improve public education in America.”
Scott R. Levy, Why School Boards Matter: Reclaiming the Heart of American Education & Democracy
On May 19th, our community will come together to make decisions that directly impact our students, educators, and families. The school budget supports everything from academic programming and student services to facilities, transportation, and safety. Voting is one of the most meaningful ways to stay engaged and ensure our schools continue to reflect the priorities of our community.

This year, there is also a Board of Education election. I’m honored to be a candidate, and I care deeply about the future of Haldane. I truly believe that participation in the electoral process is what matters most. Whether you choose to vote for me or not, your voice is important. Strong schools depend on an engaged and informed community.
If you’ve never voted in a school election before, I encourage you to take a few minutes to learn more and show up. These decisions are local, impactful, and directly connected to our day-to-day lives.
I hope you’ll join me - and so many of your neighbors - in voting on May 19th.
